Croustade is a speciality of the Ariège, particularly the Le Couserans area (main town Saint-Girons). Traditionally made for family celebrations, it's a sweet pie made with puff pastry topped with apples, pears or plums and covered with more pastry and icing sugar. The Croustade du Couserans label is a quality guarantee. Absolutely delicious!
