8,000 hectares in size, the Coubre forest, composed of holm oaks and maritime pines, offers a view of the coastal dunes of the Arvert peninsula. At the Coubre headland stands a two-colour lighthouse of 60 metres in height. From its top, a beautiful panoramic view of the Coubre forest and the wild coast (côte sauvage).
