Corsica's vineyards benefit from from exceptional geographic and climatic conditions. The vineyards of the island, which extends over approximately 8,000 hectares, produces red, rosé and white wines. The origin of these wines is guaranteed by the designation "Vin de Pays de l'Ile de Beauté" (Country Wine from the Island of Beauty). Corsica boasts several AOC wines: Patrimonio, Calvi, Ajaccio, Coteaux du Cap Corse, Muscat du Cap Corse, Sartène, Figari, Côte Orientale and Porto-Vecchio.
