A beautiful road running alongside the wild coast (côte sauvage) from Saint-Florent to Centuri and from Macinaggio to Bastia offers series of beautiful landscapes: steep cliffs, especially on the western coast, jagged coastline where stand towers of the Genoese period, picturesque villages. The Douaniers footpath at the cape headland between Centuri and Macinaggio is ideal for a walk at the seaside. Some villages of the Corsica cape are really worth a visit: • Erbalunga, a delightful fishing village; • The Centuri marine, renowned for its small authentic and picturesque port; • Nonza, typical village of the Corsica cape overhanging the sea.
