This huge experimentation centre specialising in science and technology is located in the Parc de La Villette. It covers a variety of topics: the environment, health, communication, astronomy and IT. Numerous exhibitions, conferences, games and shows are organised there, making it a very interesting place. A gigantic sphere on site, La Géode, is a cinema equipped with a huge dome screen. The museum also contains a planetarium, a children's zone, the Louis Lumière cinema showing 3D films, and a media library.
