Made on the Langres plateau in Haute-Marne, Langres is a cheese made with full-fat cow's milk, with a soft centre and washed rind, orange-yellow colour and concave shape, carrying the Appellation of Controlled Origin label. This creamy, strong-flavoured speciality is also notable for its characteristic hollow - called a fountain - which forms during the maturing process. You can add a drop of Marc de Bourgogne or Champagne to it according to taste!
