The Château de Blandy-les-Tours, an imposing 13th- and 14th-century fortified castle, stands in the charming little village of Blandy in the heart of the Brie countryside. Flanked by five towers and a 35 metre-high keep, it is a wonderful example of medieval architecture. This fine group of buildings owned by Seine-et-Marne Council is open to the public and offers a wonderful view over Brie plain from the top of the keep.
A tour of the village is also a must for its lovely old houses, 14th- and 16th-century church and apple crusher!
Every Sunday from April to July and from September to October, the castle hosts cultural events.
