Not to be missed, the Saint-Etienne cathedral of Gothic architecture, is adorned with beautiful ancient stained glass window. Of the Canal bridge situated between the Grand Jard and the Jard Anglais, the view of the cathedral is magnificent. The city of Art and History also offers the discovery of the Notre-Dame-en-Vaux church, an ancient collegiate church of Romanesque and Gothic style, which is home to beautiful stained glass window of the 16th century. Next to this building, the museum of the Notre-Dame-en-Vaux Cloister exhibits remarkable sculptures and statues, remains which used to decorate the former cloister. Right in the heart of the city, the Jard park is composed of three gardens, and is a greenery area great for strolling. The Petit Jard, a landscaped garden; the Grand Jard, a formal garden; and the Jard Anglais, situated on the border of the canal, will fulfill all walkers. To discover Châlons-en-Champagne and its heritage from a different angle, there is nothing like a boat tour on the Nau and Mau rivers.
