Formerly very popular with the kings of France, Val de Loire is renowned for its sumptuous castles and is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Loire castles, all competing with each other for their beauty and their elegance, attract visitors coming from all over the world. Magnificent parks and gardens, but also unspoiled nature offering a series of forests, rivers and lakes, contribute to make of the Centre region the Garden of France.
