On scenic Opal coastal road, two capes are part of the considerable national natural sites: the Blanc-Nez cape, a steep chalk cliff of 134 metres high, and the Gris-Nez cape, 45 metres high and made of grey clay, sandstone, and limestone. From the top of these impressive cliffs, the view of the Opal coast, on coming and leaving boats, but also on the English coasts, is magnificent. A beautiful hiking trail connecting both capes allows to admire wild and unspoiled landscapes. Happy walking!
