The city of Cannes is known all over the world for its prestigious International Film Festival, which is held every year in May in the Festival and Congress Centre.

Luxury hotels, notably of the "Belle Epoque" style, and luxury shops border the Croisette, this famous boulevard running alongside the sea and its sandy beaches. The Suquet district, the old city centre of Cannes, has kept its picturesque atmosphere and is home to numerous restaurants.

In the summer, the Pyrotechnic Art festival gives the opportunity to admire magnificent fireworks.
