Located in the Lot valley and the calcareous Limestone plateau, the Cahors vineyards extends over 3850 hectares and has produced strong red wines since ancient times! It is one of the oldest wines in France ... Carrying the AOC quality label, the Cahors wine reveals an intense and powerful taste. Becoming matured over time, this wine can also be eaten young. Ideal to accompany red meats, the Cahors wine is also perfect for the specialities of the region, such as foie gras, confits, lamb of the Quercy, truffles and cheeses of the Limestone plateaux, such as rocamadour.
