The Black Mountains (Montagnes Noires), dating from 330 million years, extends over about sixty kilometres and reaches its peak at 330 metres at the Ménez-Hom. From there, the view of the Crozon peninsula, the Bay of Douarnenez and the Alder estuary is magnificent. Ménez-Hom is also a location very popular with lovers of paragliding.
