Constructed in the XIIIth in the XVIth centuries, the Saint-Pierre Gothic cathedral is unfinished and is famous for its choir, renowned to be the highest of France! Inside the cathedral, magnificent stained glass windows, as well as an astronomical clock which boasts 90,000 pieces, 15 engines and 52 faces, are a sight to behold.

The former episcopal palace in Beauvais is today home to the local Oise museum dedicated to Archaeology and art (sculptures, paintings and ceramics). Certain old houses can be observed near the Gallo-Roman ramparts, such as for example the François 1st house dating from the 15th century.
