With a surface area of 125,000 hectare, the landscapes of the Avesnois Regional Nature Park consist of hedged farmland, forests and rivers. Not to be missed: the Val-Joly lake, great for water sports activities, and the vast Mormal forest, the biggest forest massif of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, which will delight fans of sporting activities.

Set in the old tithe barn of Maroilles abbey, the Maison du Parc visitor centre organises exhibitions and nature tours all year round.
