Located 25 km north of Grenoble, it is the city center of Voiron. The community of agglomeration of Voiron group of thirty-four towns and about 90 000 inhabitants.

With its 21 000 inhabitants, Voiron is one of the three gateway towns of the Regional Natural Park of Chartreuse. At the foot of the snowfields and one quarter of an hour from Lake Paladru Voiron a true tourist.

• Paladru Lake, located 15 km from Voiron. This lake is the fifth largest natural lake in France. Many are related to heritage sites to visit around the lake. First, in the town of Charavines, you can visit the Archaeological Museum of Lake Paladru where many objects found during excavations are on display. In the village of Le Pin, La Grange Dimière, a former dependency of Carthusian monks used to collect the royalties in kind, is now a beautiful place of ceramic sculpture exhibition.
