Each year, the day of the feast day, a king and queen are selected from prominent families. Dressed in their finest clothes, they ride two horses in procession to the sound of the hurdy-gurdy and bagpipes, go around the village. Then comes the race. Only residents of the municipality have the right to compete and the same animal can participate more than three times. Lucien Lamoureux:
