Vence, faces of Provence ... It is indeed good that this is Provence and the coast yet within range of light is far and suddenly the old town, with houses weathered by time and its markets where rendezvous all true herbs, gives us a "country" than the coast. Sitting on the foothills of the Alps, balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and the Riviera, Vence is a jewel that had the chance or the ability not to lose his soul. A kind of magic, a timeless grace this town lives and privileged. Many painters have tried to capture the landscapes and colors of their paintings: Matisse, Dufy, Chagall, Dubuffet, Soutine, Carzou ... and many others.
