Valmorel is a ski resort located on the territory of the town Les Avanchers-Valmorel.

A friendly resort village situated in a setting where the forest and prairie share different altitudes of 1300 m 2 400 m altitude, to the Col du Mottet. The Black Horse Valmorel dominates more than 2800 m.

The first installations dating from 1976, wood blends with stone facades and slate roofs.

Valmorel is attached to the common Avanchers which itself is part of the community of common Aigueblanche valleys. Valmorel is the first station when you arrive in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie.

The youngest of resorts in the Alps welcomes vacationers in summer and winter, summer holiday in the hamlets and villages, winter skiing.
