Uzès first Duchy of France, is a medieval town in the Gard.

Under the leadership of André Malraux, it was completely renovated and enjoys a heritage of rare beauty.

The history of this town reads every street corner, at the turn of each lane, which gives it a charm and peculiar nobility. It is named the Belle of stone, but Uzès is not only a city but a museum town alive.

It is located 25 km from Nimes, 30 km from Avignon and the gates of the Cevennes.
