Trèbes is a town of about 6,000 inhabitants located near Carcassonne. It is crossed by the Canal du Midi and has a marina for the many tourists who sail on the Canal du Midi.

The church Trèbes has the distinction of having among its members crows painted 14th century that support the structure of the church and who number 320. Free guided tours are offered in July and August.

Summer festivals are held from June 21 to July 13 (concert, theater ..).

In July there is a night market and Crafts Gourmet on the banks of the Canal du Midi organized by the Office of Tourism.

The first weekend of December was held on Christmas market in the leisure René Coll.

From March to October of the monthly exhibitions are held at the Tourist Office.

All year held exhibitions at the art gallery.

Possibility of making a discovery cruise of 1:30 on the Canal du Midi aboard a barge.
