Between sea and mountains, 14 km of beaches, is a place Tourrettes-sur-Loup, where a century ago, the violets have chosen to grow. Today, the culture of this delicate flower is one of the major activities and scale of production has earned the town the title of "City of Violets". Built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the precipice, this medieval village, the ideal climate in all seasons has survived intact to this day.

Fortified in the 11th century, whose homes are walls, Tourettes has a rich architectural original articulated around a central artery in a half moon.

The church built in the 12th century on a Roman place of worship, undergoes various restructuring until the eighteenth.

The museum "La Bastide aux violet" open Tuesday to Saturday.
