Located in the heart of Segala Tarn, bordering the river gorge "The Viaur.

Commune created in the second half of the 9th century, and whose development is mainly due to the construction of the famous Viaduct Viaur in the years 1892 to 1902.

Common predominantly rural, with many villages around the town. It is crossed by the new dual two express lanes opened in 2000 after the construction of large bridge on the road Viaur.

She is now 20 minutes drive from Albi, and 35 minutes from Rodez.
