Sussargues is a common centuries-old, whose economy was long based on the work of stone and vine. The ancient quarries where the stones were extracted used for the construction of many buildings have led many families to settle there Aveyron in the early 20th century. In the late '60s, the industry in decline has been abandoned. One can still see the remains of these quarries and one of them, "Font Armand", is now a place of entertainment every summer (concerts, outdoor cinema, galas etc. ... ). Viticulture in turn holds a few owners. A cooperative winery is open to the public and a private cellar. Coming to Sussargues, you can enjoy the quality of these wines.

From the property, you will discover a beautiful little church of Romanesque art from the 11th century closed.

Beautiful walks can be conducted in and around the village of vineyards, stone and scrub.

Sussargues is located about twenty kilometers from Montpellier and Pic Saint-Loup, 25 km from the sea, 80 km Mont Aigoual. Numerous hiking or mountain biking are possible paths of scrubland.
