Seringes-et-Nesles The church was destroyed during the First World War and completely rebuilt from 1930 to 1932. There was a leper in the south of the municipality where the lepers were received.

There is also a castle Nesles which was built by Robert de Dreux 3rd in 1230. The history of this castle is marred by looting, kidnappings, assaults and violence. Seringes-et-Nesles is also a high place in the history of the First World War because that is what made one of the 6 American cemeteries on French soil.
