TOWN PRESENTATION

On the church square, the name appears Sardent letter of granite in this country of stonemasons. Behind, a stele dedicated to the poor doctor, Dr. Vincent.

It was at that Sardent Claude Chabrol filmed "Le Beau Serge".

SIGHTSEEING

The 12th century church has some carved corbels under the eaves.

This is the village of Mont Saint Pardoux that would be born, founder of the town of Gueret. He lived as a hermit on the site that bears his name and is decorated with unusual statues. There is a chapel (built in 1870) dedicated to him.
