Saint-Rémy-de-Blot is a small village in Auvergne (212 inhabitants), in Combrailles more specifically the North West department of Puy de Dome, the limit of the Allier and Creuse.

There are common on the tourist a strong point: Castle Rock. It is a magnificent medieval ruins built in the 11th and 15th century to defend the bridge novel Menat only possible way this time on the river Sioule. Since 1963, the association Castle Rock deals with the consolidation, restoration and maintenance of this beautiful "eagle's nest." Every year, the last Sunday of July, the association Castle Rock with the help of the municipality, the community and the common council, organizing a festival on different themes each year.

Many activities are available for those who love nature. Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking. Descent Sioule canoeing (magnificent gorges). Fishing and swimming in the many lakes and ponds, and naturally Sioule, river trout and salmon, anglers are enjoying. Museums (paleontology, volcanism, art and culture) are within a radius of 50 km. In summer, many festivals are held in the villages around it (the festival of wood, apple, threshing, flea markets and granaries empty ...).
