Located right in the grove, in the department of Manche in Normandy region, Saint-Planchers is a small village spread over 1200 hectares. Located about 45 meters, the village has 54 hamlets, and in 1297 people since the 2009 census, it belongs to the Township of Granville and the district of Avranches. The inhabitants are called Pancraciens and Pancraciennes.

Three rivers flowing from north-east to south-west share the common two lines of rolling hills, interrupted by several small valleys cross. Mainly oriented agriculture, Saint-Planchers is the gateway to the sea, 10 km from the center of Granville, also called the Monaco of the North, 40 km from Mont-Saint-Michel.
