Village located in the Dun valley between Fontaine-le-Dun and Le Bourg-Dun.

Its name comes from "Vadum," the ford. The first references appear in the 11th century. The parish is then up to the Abbey of Fecamp.

During the Hundred Years War, certain lands are English and the late 16th century it became a center of Protestantism. The heart of the church dates back to the 12th century.

The beach of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer can not be ignored for those who like finding sand under their feet at low tide. Moreover, ample parking makes parking.
