Scents of garrigue (thyme and rosemary) are best appreciated in the spring. It occupies the mountain slopes to the crest of limestone rock.

• The "Chapter"

• A must see "Chapter", is a former Benedictine monastery and college with its 17th century bell tower that overlooks the chapel. The major site of the village is classified a historical monument.
• From its beautiful heptagonal tower, one of only two in this area in the Languedoc-Roussillon (the other is the Romanesque church of the 12th of Rieux-Minervois, Aude), a very nice view Panorama opens your eyes.

• The grooves Galamus:

• Galamus gorges are a natural site protected and offers many surprises. The output of the gorge to the south offers a panoramic view of the Pic du Canigou, the highest peak in the department. • The chapel of St. Anthony of Galamus:

• This chapel has been the 7th century. First reduced to a single cave where the river, the place now contains a chapel clinging to the wall of the gorge. Many Phoenician juniper aged over five hundred years clinging to the rocks overlooking the stairs down to the courtyard. The chapel was built following the "miracle" of 1782 during which many villagers were saved Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet an epidemic of "sweating sickness" (a kind of gangrene where you sweat a lot) through the protection of St. Anthony. Since that day, amid the rocks grows into a tree almost without water. It is now huge and offers its visitors peaceful shade.
