Medieval town of 1047 inhabitants located 890 m above sea level and covers 2900 hectares on the edge of two regions of Auvergne and Rhône-Alpes. Commune Haute-Loire, bordering the Loire and Puy-de-Dome. Halfway between Le Puy-en-Velay and St Etienne (50 km), 13 km from Craponne-sur-Arzon, 15 km from Saint-Bonnet-le-Chateau, 105 km from Lyon.
