Saint-Martin-Gimois former "Saint-Martin Cogotois" had a castle which remains today the chapel, recently redone. On its square has been asked by the new municipality a monument of remembrance quite remarkable. The beautification of the village is a typical Gers concerns of the community. Some "crosses" surmounted by a wrought iron cross punctuate the streets of the village.
Located at the top of hills, he delights a commanding view of the Gers countryside and castle "Tancouet."
Bordered on one side by "Marcaoue" (pretty little stream) and on another side by the village "chief place" Saramon.
The village has one of the last "flock of geese" Gers.
EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS
Famous for its expertise receive Saint Martin Gimois held every year on the last day of April, a giant omelette with mushrooms, cooked over a wood fire in a stove than two meters in diameter.
