Saint-Martin-des-Noyers Castle is located near the forest of Detroit, where Yon rises, and is the possession of the family Chabot in the 12th century. This site quickly became a fortress by building towers and ramparts. The castle did not have to suffer the Hundred Years War. After 1450, the fortress became a platform for Protestants.
