On the Common Saint-Martin-de-Lixy is a castle of medieval origins unknown, the shield could not be deciphered. This castle is in good condition and is inhabited.

A small chapel of the 12th century: The chapel is surrounded by its graveyard, which is still in use. New windows have been placed. The exterior walls were cleaned and patch up. The tower has been fully restored, a new string can ring the bell, fully visible from the outside. Once a year, on St. Martin, a Mass is celebrated in the chapel.

On the town, on the road "Careers" instead says "Barnay" three operating sites of the yellow stone that was used to build houses. These farms have been closed for years and the vegetation was resumed. However, the road, the yellow rock can be admired. It became the refuge of crows and buzzards.

Every year on St. Martin (November), a Mass is celebrated in the chapel of Saint-Martin-de-Lixy. It's a special moment because this is the only ceremony held in the chapel during the year.
