Charming little village on the hillside, halfway between Vailly-sur-Aisne and Braine. It enjoys a magnificent view over the valley of the Aisne. Going up the main street, you reach a plateau overlooking the valley Vesle.

Almost totally destroyed in World War because of its proximity to the Chemin des Dames (3 to 4 km as the crow flies), it was rebuilt in the original style, that is to say houses and barns with no sparrow. He also suffered from bombing in World War II.
