Between Provence and Cévennes Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres is a typical village of Rhone Gard. Located 5 minutes from the exit of the A9 motorway, 25 minutes from Avignon, Orange, Nimes and Uzes, this location makes it easily accessible dive sites.
Its Romanesque church fortified its keep (feudal), Ribas Tower and the remains of the ramparts reflect the rich history of past centuries.
Ribas Tower, headquarters of the Tourist Office, houses a scale model made from archives, which represents the city as it might appear in the Middle Ages and until about 1750.
The maze of streets, alleys and squares offers guests pass multiple attractions. Discoveries historical, archaeological, geological for lovers of old stones and beautiful countryside.
South of the village extend remarkable pine: the forest in the shaded paths, picnic areas, picnic, fitness trails, hiking and riding leading to the plateau Lirac that rewards nature lovers a splendid view of Mount Ventoux.
To the north, Mount Cau towers overlooking the village and its vineyards famous since ancient times until today.
