The small village of Mont-de-Games overlooks the beautiful valley of the Aisne. At the end of the village before the park entrance (private) housing the remains of the castle, one can see the house of the great writer Andre Dhôtel ( "The country where one can never"), a barracks paths iron than the author had turned into a resort. It can be visited during the day of the image that is held every last Sunday of August.

Mont-de-Games is in the center of "Dhôtelland" the country that can be fun to go in the novels of André Dhôtel. The writer, who described himself as "walk", was a regular at these long walks in the unspoilt countryside and enchanting. You can always practice and many sites are remarkable around: the channel of Ardennes, Aisne valley, the railroad and its famous Picasso Semuy church, etc..

At 6 kilometers away is the famous village of Roche where Arthur Rimbaud wrote his masterpiece, 'A Season in Hell'. The family farm was destroyed but the laundry before which the poet found inspiration has been beautifully restored.
