In the early 18th century, in times of war Camisards, the city is surrounded by an enclosure which meanders from the tower of Vidourle Saint Louis to Fort Vauban. Down the road from Cros, is the capture of the fountains. This book surmounted by a circular dome, built on the bank of the Vidourle, is the starting point for most of the 13 fountains Cigaloises.
The old railway viaduct has arcades of stone thrown in a curve over the Vidourle next to the medieval tower of round, turn called St. Louis.
