Saint-Georges-du-Vièvre Township is located between those of Montfort, Pont-Audemer, Brionne, Cormeilles and Thiberville. It has 4 481 inhabitants in an area of 10 372 hectares and consists of fourteen municipalities in homes mostly made of mud, studs, brick (clay soil, there were many brick kilns in the region), slate and thatch. The acidity of the ground can decorate the homes of camellias, rhododendrons and hydrangeas.
