12 km from Issoire, Departmental on 26, in the direction of Besse-en-Chandesse, is a village out of a postcard Saint-Floret. Surrounded by rocks, it looks like these southern villages where light does take different forms depending on the season.

Beautiful tours have been developed between the different sites of the town. From the village, you can visit the castle through the old bridge on which is placed a beautiful Madonna and head by a small footpath to reach the archaeological site Chastel. Archaeological site with unique rock tombs anthropomorphic the High Middle Ages, dominated by an ossuary pyramidal shape. A second walk can bring you to the wonderful source of Lion's Head. Continuing the walk, you make a loop that will take you to an ancient castle and you descend on the bridge Ribeyre.
