St. Felix is located 40 km south east of Toulouse, in the heart of Lauragais.
Its history is full of events, including the Cathar Council was held in 1167, and personalities.

Sicard Alaman was the founder of Saint-Félix-Lauragais in 1245.
Guillaume or Guilhem de Nogaret (born about 1260 in Saint-Félix-de-Lauragais - died in March 1313) was a French jurist, a native of Languedoc, who became advisor to the King of France Philippe le Bel fourth, his keeper, and from 1306 was the real architect of the royal policy.
French composer Deodat de Severac Saint-Félix-Lauragais was born in July 20, 1872 and died in Ceret (Pyrénées-Orientales) March 24, 1921.
The village houses a beautiful 14th century collegiate church and its organs Rabigny 18th century, a hall and belfry, half-timbered houses, a castle, a home college and windmills.
Festival history Cocagne: The history of the Cocagne festival is part of the cultural heritage of Lauragais. It attracts many visitors Saint-Félix-Lauragais from across the region. For over 39 years, the Easter weekend to Saint-Félix-Lauragais is punctuated by the festival of Cocagne: Sunday and Monday from 10 to 18. Thus, over the years and issues addressed, the sewing workshop has drawn up about 1800 costumes, wonderful work of seamstresses that led to the "high point" of these celebrations: fashion shows. During these two days, visitors are transported according to the years of past eras from the Middle Ages to the Roaring Twenties. More than 400 people in costume and parade stroll to the delight of onlookers. The walls of the medieval castle town vibrate by the multitude of music present. The animations are so numerous that there is no respite for the visitor. Nearly a hundred artisans and old trades offer great interactivity, not to mention the local cuisine (Mills, headsets, cassoulet of beans and mountges ...).
