The history of the town is of course linked to the castle located midway between Toulouse and Saint-Gaudens, easy access, close to junction 25 of the A64 motorway. A beautiful plaza stretches to the castle.

The Castle: A jewel of regional architecture, this magnificent palace was built in the 16th century for Pierre Potier de la Terrasse, Secretary Francis. Restored in the '80s, he visited between April and September under the auspices of the Tourist. Rare Plants Expo Sale of Saint-Élix: the fourth weekend in October.
