Saint-Clar Gers is a typical country house of the 13th century, situated in the heart of Lomagne, local agricultural heritage is particularly rich. This is the main center of production of white garlic.

Saint-Clar center is the old wooden hall of the 13th century, exceptionally preserved, backed by the mayor. All around the hall instead of the stone houses of the 18th century form a "Garland" (succession of arches). The village has another square surrounded by arcades: it is one of the few walled towns in the region that have two seats to "corner".

Two annual events are held around the garlic:

The Garlic Festival that takes place the first Thursday of August in a traditional environment: a "farm meal", accompanied by musical entertainment is served in the hall.

Garlic Contest which takes place the third Thursday in August after the awards to the most beautiful presentations of garlic, a "thonade" giant is served in the hall and arcades of the main square.

Besides the local heritage (washing and pigeon for example), the nearest locations are Lectoure and spa, La Romieu and collegiate Flaran Abbey, Castle Lavardens ...
