TOWN PRESENTATION

Situated between the mighty cliffs of Cap Frehel hosting the indomitable Lalatte strong, and the corsair city of Saint-Malo

The Peninsula Saint-Cast-le-Guildo is a delicious mix of great sandy beaches, secret coves and breathtaking views.

SIGHTSEEING

The Church of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo: The old, outdated and dilapidated and was demolished in 1913. The present church granite Languédias, whose foundation stone was blessed on July 4, 1897, was completed December 3, 1899 but spent only 21 August 1932. The north transept window shows the Duke of Aiguillon conversation with the Marquis de Broc, near the Mill of Anne, under the protection of the Virgin, seated on a chariot Clear qu'escortent angels. The engraving in Latin inscribed on the column means: "Death is a stain, you alone are great and do great events.
Port of Saint-Cast Armor: New marina in deep water! After two years of work (2007-2009), Saint-Cast-le-Guildo opened its new marina, pontoon bearing rings 750, 20 rings for professional fishing, visitors 10 rings (length max. 15 m) and 250 seats in the wetting . The wet dock is available 24/24, regardless of the tidal coefficient.
The monument Frigate Laplace Bay Fresnaye - Plage de la Mare: The September 16, 1950, the Meteorological frigate "Laplace" jumped on a mine in Baie de la Fresnaye, killing 51 sailors. A monument to the memory of the victims is built at Mare Beach in 1952. Top of 8 meters, it represents the prow of a ship from which sprang a pyramid symbolizing life snuffed out by a disaster.
The coastal footpath GR 34 - Hiking: 18 km of coastal paths are available to you, offering unexpected views and breathtaking vistas. Meander through the GR 34 and 10 loops available in the guide hikes, this peninsula bathed in blue-green waters of Emerald and its rich heritage (chapels, mills, church).
The pedestrian link: A pedestrian path connects the side of a rocky beach at Great Harbour. With a length of 600 m, this bridge will facilitate such access for boaters to central Station, and the marina will be a major economic hub in the life of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo.
Beaches:

The main beach, located in the heart of the resort, away from the Pointe de Saint-Cast and the Point Guard and bordered by the Boulevard of the sea and offers a splendid view over the harbor.
Pen Guen beach second beach of Saint-Cast, framed by the Point Guard and the Bay Pointe.
Beach Four Vaulx, located near areas shellfish, a favorite place of fishermen.
Beaches de la Mare, the Pissotte and Fresnaye, more secret, they offer an unobstructed view of the Fort Lalatte.
The range of the Pit, the most remote, located at the western tip of the peninsula. Sheltered by the Grouin Pointe de la Fosse.

The Peninsula Saint-Cast-le-Guildo opens its wide open spaces for riders with long walks through the green hinterland, or on sandy beaches.
Enjoy the harbor, facing the Bay of Saint-Malo, delicious seafood and fish caught in the morning! At a bend on the GR 34 hiking or walking on the waterfront, enjoy the mussels in white wine, curry, Provencal?? Enjoy oysters from the Bay of Arguenon, and continue with a pastry called the castin. True to the cuisine of Brittany, also learn buckwheat, accompanied by a bowl of cider!
