| TOWN PRESENTATION |
Open to the Atlantic Ocean, looking at Saint-Nazaire, Saint-Brevin is installed on the south bank of the estuary, a remnant of the ancient delta extending from the Vilaine to Machecoul. The inexorable advance of dunes buried traces of ancient settlements. According to legend, the ancient city of Montoise was engulfed. It remains, however, many standing stones, evidence of human presence at a very early period.
The city escaped the massacres of the Revolution and whose German bombing victim was St. Nazaire. Threatened by sand, it was after winning a lawsuit against the state that the town collects in the 1860s, some 600 hectares of coastal properties sold on the condition that they will plant pine trees. Saint-Brevin would triumph over its desert dunes and attract a population of vacationers who build magnificent villas along the wooded paths. Its long beaches safe, available to Atlantic winds make it the ideal place to practice snow sports and encourage tourism loving family at once authentic and dishes.
Today, the resort offers a huge panel of sporting and cultural activities feasible in an environment and an ideal.

The church: It is binding in the heart of the city with its bell tower. It is dedicated to Saint Brevin or Bregwin, Archbishop of Canterbury who has never been canonized in the region.
