TOWN PRESENTATION

Ideally located in a loop of the Seine, the city of Saint-Aubin-lès-Elbeuf is just 20 km from Rouen, 140 km from Paris and a hundred miles of the Normandy coast. The town enjoys good road links including the nearby motorway network.

Saint-Aubin, which extends over 578 hectares, is part of the Community of Agglomeration of Tweed. The Agglo Elbeuf includes more than 56,000 people in ten towns: Caudebec-les-Elbeuf Cleon Elbeuf Freneuse, La Londe, Orival, Saint-Aubin-lès-Elbeuf, Saint-Pierre-les-Elbeuf Sotteville-Sous-Le-Val and Tourville la Rivière.

At the last census of 2006, 8197 St. Aubinois were counted.

SIGHTSEEING

Saint-Aubin is no shortage of architectural and landscape treasures. The view over the cliffs Orival, old locks, the beach and the convent of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus are some of the sights.

Five walking routes are available for tourists, walkers and those wishing to explore Saint-Aubin and loop of the Seine, taking their time. These trails are marked and you will discover the particular marina, sailing club, the religious community and its 15th century dovecote and the library and park. EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS

Celebration of Pentecost. Saturday: at any fair, fairground entertainment, petanque contest, fireworks. The Sunday parade of floats and marching bands in the streets of the city.

The Randolune: ATV at night hike of 35 km in the forest of Rouvray La Londe. Each year in June, 150 bikers are at the start of this trekking with revenues are donated to the League against Cancer.

Beyond these major events, the city of Saint-Aubin-lès-Elbeuf offers cultural events throughout the year:

The cabaret jazz: the ballroom is transformed into a cabaret space of one evening earlier this year to host jazz artists of international renown.
