History:

The land belonged to the abbey of Saint Aubin d'Angers hosted the 9th century priory probably led to the creation of the village. Despite difficult early days, the 13th century will bring new life to the priory and therefore the village.

From the 16th century the monks abandoned the premises, the priory will be bought in 1845 by the town which will destroy much.
