Small town located on the Saclay plateau, 25 kilometers from Paris, is an old typical country village. From the church, leaving only the magnificent spire of the 12th century. Excavations have revealed a habitat from the Neolithic period.

The equestrian club du Mesnil-Blondel, along the valley Mérantaise, and public golf attract many enthusiasts.

SIGHTSEEING
The tower of the old church Saint-Aubin: 12th century, it is the only remnant of the church. Recently restored, it houses a bell, consecrated in 1760, goddaughter of the lord of Vauhallan and widow of Lord of Gif.
Wells covered: there are three in the village of Saint-Aubin, one along the wall of the quarry, another street of the Stage, and another leaning against the wall of the farm of the Commandery Street Belltower. The wells are covered to avoid possible falling leaves that make the water unfit for consumption.
The building of the farm of the Commandery it is the only private house in the village. Very impressive, dominating the court, it reflects the success of large landowners in the 18th century. It is built on a plinth and has two millstones fore-front.
City hall: built in 1899 millstone to house the first school and municipal employees, it is the image of the village, a tiny town hall to a small village of 120 inhabitants at the time. The remains of prehistoric tools and Gallo-Roman witnessed the long history of the town, are preserved.
Terminals: marking out the gutters, we find these terminals fleurdelisées throughout the Saclay plateau. They reflect the membership of the Royal drainage system created by engineer Gobert. The following cons terminal is located along the swale Saint-Aubin the edge of the plateau.
