Saint-André-de-Sangonis winemaker is a large village situated on the banks of the Herault, within 30 minutes from Montpellier, the vineyards of Languedoc. Population of just under 5,000 inhabitants. The village has facilities for sports and recreation, and all shops and services are represented. Several restaurants including certified organic.

The Town Hall occupies a landmark building built in 1848 to consolidate City Hall, municipal and school hall.

In advancing the course of the square, the old walls with elegant Belfry (clock tower) next to the entrance porch in the old village. Behind the parish church with its spire of the 19th which is about 40 m.

To see the bridge over the Herault linking Saint-Andre Gignac and is one of the most beautiful bridges in the eighteenth.

Note the Chapel of St. Bridget of Sweden, on the Via Sancta Birgittae.

Due to its proximity (10 minutes) with Lake Salagou one side and the general site of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert / Gorges de l'Hérault other, heritage visits, walks and activities (swimming and canoeing) are very high quality, close to Saint-André-de-Sangonis.
