Ruaudin is a charming town located 10 km from the center of Le Mans and 4 km from its first houses. Changed Parigné-Eveque, Brette-les-Pins, Teloché Mulsanne and limit its territory.

The village lies at the center of a territory that is shaped like an irregular ellipse that stretches 6 km in length from west to east, 3.5 km at its widest point.

The town is well served by major roads, national and departmental level. The village is also located at the junction of all these pathways.

Ruaudin, whose Latin name indicates an owner, saw its name changed over the centuries. The town was named in 1175 for completion in post Ruauden Ruaudin 1695 in Belin, by way of Parrochia Ruaudeno in 1252 and Ecclesia de vico Decani in 1508.

Ruaudin is the former parish of the diocese of Le Mans. St. Peter is the patron of the city. This charming town is perceived as a district of Le Mans in 1787 and eventually became the 10th year in the 3rd district of Le Mans, having previously belonged to the canton of Parigne l'Eveque in Year III.

Currently, Ruaudin part of South East Mansfield Township and the borough of Le Mans.
